I got mine from AMS. My sales guy Josh was great! When I got the bass today the action and intonation was a mess.
Took me a while to set up but now it plays and sounds awesome!! I'm loving it!!

Thanks for all the feedback. It sounds like Music Man sold a few basses this week! All look amazing.
Good to hear that everyone is happy with theirs.
I got a new head for one of my stacks today. I played all the basses I own through it and the Stingray definitely sounded the best.

TBH the E, A and D (G was hit or miss so it could’ve been me) strings are buzzing on a fret so I need to take a deeper look. Of course it was slightly out of tune as well. Not sure how much setup Sweetwater does. I literally played it for 30 seconds though and otherwise it feels great.

I don’t think Sweetwater does any setup (if I understood correctly when I asked my sales guy). They have a checklist they run through.
They do have a good warranty and customer service but it sounds like zzounds sets theirs up.

My bass was listed on both of their websites. Same serial number so I had to ask my sales guy. He reluctantly told me they are competors but share a wearhouse. You do what you have to do and cut cost these days.

When I bought my Special 7 weeks ago in the UK Andertons had a great selection of the cool colours. Though I went for black, haha!
