You've obviously never been to our border here.
You can drive trucks through it, fly planes over it, and walk through tunnels under it.
Anybody thinks they're keeping anything out of the United States, they're nuts.
You can smuggle thousands of people and thousands of bales of pot through there. A virus is nothing to bring in here.
It was just sarcastic humor. Or an attempt to. I actually have been to them and live in Texas. Yet get Canadian weed down here quite often or used to... Colorado has a huge market share now.
But my main point. The poopie's originating in Liberia. There's equal chance (or perhaps higher if we go into many factors) of somebody bringing Ebola from out northern border.

We used to end up with Canadian coins in our pocket change as a kid in Minnesota. The lady up at the store still let us buy candy cigarettes or Big League Chew with them
Try doing that with peso's down here....or even dollars for that matter.

Somehow I have way too many Canadian coins at home! Pisses me off cause I always find out when a vending machine spits it out lol

I (still) get Canadian coinage every once in a while.. In Los Angeles.!!
But seriously, the Ebola virus is more likely to be spread by (unknowingly) affected passengers on international flights.
Thankfully, the air carriers have stepped-up their awareness to this.
I agree, the danger is travel by people who are carrying it but don't know/haven't shown symptoms yet, or (in rare cases) might hide it to get back home to see loved ones before they die, or more likely, mistake it for flu, etc.
