I have owned for a very very brief time both the 500 and world tour 800, and I dumped both of them quick. I did keep the xlt cabs, but I cant stand Eden amps. In my opinion they are highly overrated, and there wattage claims seem to be overrated as well. I didn't mind the tone so much I just find them week and a pain in the A** to EQ. I prefer simple EQ over tons of EQ, but thats me. I am sure the EQ options are great for some, but I have always opted for amps that sound great with minimal fuss. Maybe the 300T is a good amp, but I'm to jaded against Eden to try it especially for the price
The 500 and the 800 are completely different then the 300T. I've had both an 800 and the 300T. There certainly is a lot of tone tweaking that can be done on the 800. The 300T is a pretty straight forward tone stack.
They were going at the time I picked mine up for under $700. Couldn't resist trying it at that price. And, if I didn't already have 3 SVTs of various vintages and needed another 300w tube amp, I certainly would have kept it.
