Eden Terra Nova amps...Any Reports?

I see a couple of options... the first is simply to remove the 30uf cap (it's not really doing anything anyway) from the HPF and replace with a wire. This alone might resolve the problem. The second thing I would recommend is adding 1 or 2 ohms in series with the input of the HPF to isolate any resonant (stored HF energy) effects back to the amp. You might also add .47 to 1 ohms in series with the 20uF cap on the woofer's LPF.

Again, thank you Aged Horse. Removing the big 30uf cap in the hpf already seemed to make the difference. But the old wiring looked a bit shoddy to me, so I decided to redo the whole x-over on a new board and had to order some parts. The tn 501 now has no problems at all with this cab, and I think the transition to the mid is a bit smoother. Although that’s hard to hear as I can’t A/B both situations.

The combination of the Terra Nova and this cab now actually sounds pretty good and very versatile. I have yet to try it out with DB at full bigband volume, that will be the test if it is as much feedback resistant and DB friendly as this cab was with the WT 300.
