i think each electro-amateur this can do, so find any at your location and try it.....or if you wont risk try somebody who proffesionaly repairs electronics....you know its really easy to replace tripots with normal pots so everybody whose work with electronics is able to do it:hyper:

In fact you shoul event try it yourself... ;) You will have to buy a soldering iron if you d'ont have one yet, but beleive me, it will be useful beyond this mod.

its your opinion :D i think its unusual envelope filter - maybe dist. is quite discutable but nodist. sound is great...its really depends on personally tastes ... i fell in love on first hear :D
somebody else would say its piece of crap...

I didnt say it was crap or bad, i just dont see a place for it in recording/playing live. Its a damn fun thing when practicing or noodling though :D However if someone can make it sound excellent in a mix, then im all for it :D

Well, Bootsy Collins (and a few other funky bassists) might just disagree with you. Envelope followers have been in quite a bit of popular music.

Envellope controlled filters added to a distortion allow to control your sound, adding the dynamic dimension that the distortion kills, something you can control with how you're playing. That's a great thing IMO.

As the Bassballs has 2 filters it's even more usable than a single one. One can add some growling lows and the other some harsh trebles. I love it...

Huuu I like Basballs but muff is too fuzzy for my taste...im looking for distrotion pedal but still cant find anything good....
maybe i tell my brother to try bassballs with double muff on guitar...last time he try this chain godin radiator-> Ibanez vintage compresor->Dunlop JImmy Hendrix Wah Special->bassballs->doublemuff->ibanez vintage flanger->danelectro danecho->mesa studio 22+ :D tahta was really crazy but cool sound :D
