Electric Cigarettes

+1

That made me wonder as well, it shouldn't be that hard. They created successful drugs for all kinds of hormonal irregularities and neurotransmitter problems except for dopamine.

No that's why the War on Drugs' 'Just say No' campaign just about the same time that Crack spread around the Southwest USA and up through the midwest.

Cocaine is all about dopamine and it's big business.

Hello,

I am sorry for this issue you’re having with your atomizer. There could be a couple of reasons that you are having an issue with this, what we will need for you to do is remove your cartridge from the atomizer and with the atomizer still screwed into the battery; blow into the tip (where the arch of the mesh material is). What you are looking to happen is 1. You will see vapor the longer you blow into the tip, 2. You may hear a sizzle from the atomizer or 3. You will see a red glow down in the atomizer. If there is one of these things that you “Don’t” see then chances are there is an issue with the atomizer. I hope these troubleshooting steps help you with your atomizer. Unfortunately, we do not replace the atomizer that was given to you with your starter kit as the starter kit comes with one atomizer and you are given the 2nd one in the event something goes wrong with the one with your starter kit, we don't want you to be completely with out so we give you the 2nd one just incase.

That's the email I finally got in response. I don't really feel it's right or fair but whatever. At least they responded.

Does the ban include "e-cigarettes"?

E-cigarettes don't give off smoke and are more like inhalers than cigarettes, even though their appearance may be similar to a cigarette.

I'm looking into it for my wife but I believe that the ban does not include the E-cigs because it specifically addresses tobacco.

I was letting ThisisCraigP know that NY isn't the only one with an indoor smoking ban, they were just the first.

I'm no longer using them. The atomizers I received were defective, and after a few weeks I would take a drag off and liquid nicotine solution would come through the hole and hit my tongue. When I contacted customer service they replied that they don't replace the atomizers, and that's why I got two of them with my order. IMO this is subpar service on their part, and I don't want to use the company anymore. I'm sure I'll try other brands after long enough, so I'll be sure to post on them when I do. For now, I'm back to the real smokes, and won't probably change till awhile after I move (which is tomorrow).
On a side note, I'll be moving to Poughkeepsie, NY. They have a great venue called The Chance. If any of you are going to see any good shows give me a heads up via PM. I miss out on most of the news of artists coming around.

Scott

Interesting, thanks for the update.

I tried an e-cig named Fifty-One at the mall yesterday, was very intersting and satisfying. Lots of vapor and good flavor. I sampled the vanilla.

One thing different about the 51 brand is the atomizer is replaced with each replacement flavor cartridge. The other is the expense...$140 for the starter pack.

Here's my E-Cig story...

Started off with Smoke 51, which I do NOT recommend based only on their shipping rate/customer service. Mine took over 4 weeks to get to me, and in the interim I found a much better deal at this site: Link Removed.

Smoke 51 took 89.95 for the kit and 29.95 for the monthly replacements (forget exactly how many per month) BEFORE the kit even arrived. My Super Mini Electric Cigarette came within 4 days of ordering online and has a MUCH higher nicotine content per cartridge than the Smoke 51. I'm 4 months in to it and haven't had any problems.

The only 'shift' you have to make is in how long you smoke each session and how you space it out throughout the day. They say that each replacement filter has a packs worth of Nicotine in it, but it certainly goes a LOT faster than a regular cigarette. The good thing is that if you take it slow and allow the nicotine to do its work, you'll usually only take about 3 hits or so per smoking session. No more 10minute smoke breaks like normal cigarettes, but JUST as much nicotine if not more. Really got a good buzz off of it. Plus it really does put out a ton of vapor. Very realistic.

I also re4commend that if you do get one that you consider taping over one or two of the vent holes in the unit. It allows you to take even bigger drags and you can hit it slower. I got that idea from watching this guy. Dig the Scottish Brogue:
