Separate out for the subs. I tried the matching tops and they didnt quite do it for me. Love the bottoms though. Only kick and bass.

After 4 gigs and constant tweaking, the ev cabs are going back. Upgrading to a pair of k12 tops. I still cant get get over when i borrowed my friends k12's how great they sounded. All i did was hook them up, adjusted the eq for the room and enjoyed the show! Output was great and no issues!
Haven't had any issues with my EVs and I think they sound great. I AB'd them against K12s and I preferred the EVs. To each his own.
I did the same, a/b the 2 and found no significant difference between them, with prerecorded music, but live it all seemed to change and i agree, they sound great too. Its just that i am still a little green with sound so i think if i had more experience running sound i could get that sweet spot with them, but i need to keep the band worry free and not always seeing me running over to the stage adjusting output level on the cabs during each set.
