Epifani PS 600

Ah yes, I meant to ask. How did you go about removing the rubber feet on the bottom?

I just used my fingers, applying constant pressure.

Bummer for me. I was hoping the PS series would be priced a little lower. I guess a "street price" of about $850.00 was my pipe dream.
I have an Eden WT-400 and I honestly don't remember what I paid for it new. Maybe $750.00 or $800.00? I have two T-112 Epi cabs that are just dying to be matched up with an Epi head. Guess I'll have to wait for a used one to pop up. If I do go used I'll save up for the UL502.
The PS series got me all excited. New PS or used UL502 ? Probably used UL502 for me. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I received my PS600 last week from Pazera's music. It's a killer head. I paired the PS600 and a UL112 against my Aguilar AG500 and GS112.

To be honest, I was leaning towards the Epifani when I A/B'ed them, but there was a lot I liked about the Aguilar as well. Then I decided to switch the cabinets around a little and I discovered that I only liked my AG500 through the GS112. The PS600 sounded killer through the Epifani and the Aguilar cab. Which is why my current setup is a GS112, a UL112, and the PS600 head. I originally planned on getting a pair of whichever cabinet I preferred, but the two together really compliment one another and this Epifani sounds so killer through them, I'm not going to change a thing. Sadly, I will be letting the Aguilar head go, she was good to me but she's been supplanted.

I tried the PS 600 today and it KILLS! I like the Aguilar 500, too but the PS 600 sounded a little more clearer to me. Unfortunately, I have no idea how it would sound in a band situation but I played a Fender FMT V with a nice setup and an MTD Z5 bass with crappy fretwork and I heard the acoustic tones of both basses amplified. I was playing through the UL410.

There's no doubt in my mind now that the PS 600 is for me.

It sounds great with the musicman stingray5 hh, too I use position 4 on that bass usually.

Is it possible to pair the ps600 up with an Eden 410xlt 8 ohm? How much power will the epifani give? Thanks!

Really??? Now the street price is almost DOUBLE that. That makes no sense to me at all but I guess it all boils down to what the market can bear.

I don't remember the 2002 price; but the street price in 2003 was around $2,200. The price gradually went up over the years because parts got more expensive. When we re-designed it into the DB 751 we were able to lower the retail price by $300! We have become much more efficient manufacturers over the years and it's reflected in the design and manufacturing of the DB 751. I can't speak for anyone but our company; but our goal is always to offer as much value as possible. We're proud of that. I would consider it very bad business and personally objectionable to do anything like "charging what the market can bear".

Basically, you can buy a DB 751 today for the same or slightly less that a DB 750 in 2003!
