Ah, but you see, when I do use a solid state amp setup (say, IP cabs), it's so much easier to drag that little pedal along. :p Actually, if I don't use a rackmount preamp, I use the Fulltone. If I have a rack, and there's room, I prefer the Chandler Tube Driver for overdrive.

I bet, with the tweeter cranked off, the IP310 sounds GREAT with the fulltone in front of it.

I really should just go out and buy one. What are they, 200$ tops? That's not too bad. Although, some of us don't have law degrees filling our basements with probably a hundred thousand dollars of bass stuff.... ;)

I called Epifani yesterday to give them my warranty info. I guess their website work has been wreaking havoc on their online registration form. After some phone tag with an unknown employee whose voice I didn't recognize, I finally registered my new UL-110 and UL-112 cabs and then right as I was going to ask him a question about the Quests being offered on MF, he said he had a call on the other line and that he'd call me back later. Well, no call yet today. I wanted to ask them about the Jensens xformers and whether they'll be in the units MF is offering. Anyone know whether the Jensens are gonna be in these last MF units?


It's such a good deal! I feel like Stan's dad in the Wall-Mart episode.

dont quote me on it, but they dont have jensens, rather nick's own "mod" to make them phantom power safe. i.e. mine doesnt have the jensen, but sounds great and plays nice w/ the PA board.

No, it doesn't come with rack ears... you have to order them from Epifani for $24 plus S&H. Bummer....

And the footswitch costs extra too. $75 from Epifani. :scowl:

Really? That is a bit of a let down. Especially since the ad on MF includes, as one of the "features":

Pedal controller: ch1/ch2, mute/tuner, mid-cut

The let down is that I can't figure out why it doesn't come with rack ears.... It's a pre amp... not a full head. It needs a power amp that's probably going to be... oh... I don't know.... RACKED!!! So, I guess we're supposed to just sit the Q2 on top of the rack...??

I think it was supposed to be like a U5, a studio desk recording device... but according to the Epi website, it didn't pass that test with thier user panel and they're going back to the drawing board.... but still... RACK EARS PLEASE!!:bawl: :bawl:
