Seems silly when you think of it, but the issuance of what seems to be a silly little number actually does make one feel acknowledged and recognized to be part of a group of owners of a particular manufacturer so again, thanks for taking over.

I do this for a few other clubs and I find it really helps to post an overall list to come back to and then update to keep track.

2001 epi eb0. 1st shorty. Got me back into playing bass. Modded with a reissue guild bisonic and victory gold foil surface mount pickup (no cavity routing required) and supertone bridge. Love it with tapewounds.

Here is modded up vs stock. Looks so naked stock.

Supertone for more normal bridge (individual string height) and feels more solid attached than oil rig legs.

Reissue bisonic to try new pickup. Wanted to keep I chrome so not the dimarzio model 1.

Than the surface mount victory as my mod mind wanted a 2nd pickup but I dont have routing skills.

Threw on tapes around time I added bisonic so dont have good deadwood vs tape mental comparison but feel it helped the sound.

Unexpectedly victory sounds 99% like bisonic. Think it's due to position and distance from string. Expected more of a sound difference due to drastic different design. But guess an eb0 with tapes sounds like an eb0 with tapes. Great pickup for 1/2 cost of bisonic.

Planned the pickup and bridge when buying it so had those costs already in mind. Then got bass money back with warranty when I broke pickup jack so bass just cost new output jack premod.

Got some other cheap pickup styles to put in neck to experiment more since victory gets me my sound. Will probably sound same. Havent had time or urge to mess with it all lately. Also have a tbx tone knob to try out. Pulled out original as I did nothing and neded the slot for pickup switch.

Frets look different? Did you change those too?

Stock. Might be lighting or photo editing (autofix colors). Sort of old...2001 and made in Indonesia. Not sure side by side how it differs from newer chinese ones. Think it came with its OG strings too as felt looked same as new ones.

The Pro V came (used) with a warped bridge. It now has a Hipshot type A. I moved the strap button from the upper bout to the neck heel.
The IV didn't have enough room on the standard bridge for long silks, so it now sports a Hipshot Supertone 3 point.
I run EB Cobalt flats on both.
