I have never had moose. Is it common fare in Canada?
around here you have to go to special butcher shops/delis to get it. i don't see it at the grocery store.
I like all game meat, mostly in stew or as burgers. I prefer elk and venison, even bear over moose. but i'll take any of them over beef or pork.
Pitchblack. no complaints with it at all.

I've also had the tu-2 and a GFS.
If there was a GFS sized tuner with the screen and daisy chain of the korg and the dual out of the Tu-2 I'd be in heaven

Got it for free, but can't say enough good things about it. Solid metal enclosure, gigantic display, fast and stable tracking, tracks low B without any issues and it's cheap.
EDIT: Also passes 9V power.

I have the sonic research and a pitchblack.
I prefer the sonic reseach, it's super accurate, and sturdy, plus it doesn't take up a lot of room. However, the pitchblack is the only tuner I've ever used that tracks Low F easily. No idea why, but it works....so that's on the board for bongripper, I use the sonic reseach for everything else.

I use a Korg Pitchblack because my TU-2 was acting funny and that's what both my guitarists use, so it made sense. Works great for me.
TC Polytune. They're a bit overpriced retail, IMO, but I got one on the cheap. Never tried tracking lower than B.
I've tried moose chili. Not too bad, a little different taste/texture.
im starting to wonder about the SR pedals. mine tracks perfectly down to G, cant imagine F would be a problem. my guitarist uses one and says his can barely track his low A string, which makes no sense. but youre saying it doesnt track low either. ***

I need something to track low strings fast on a loud stage and I need something with a good battery life.
The Turbo Tuner doesn't draw any power when it's off.
The guitarist I share a room with said his is noisy but he's not positive it's just the tuner.

It does track, but it's very very sensitve, the slightest turn of the tuning key will send it spinning out of control.
The way I look at it is that it's too accurate for low F, the PB isn't as precise, but it is in tune, and it doesn't take me 5 minutes of putzing around to be in tune.
