Oh, you have that tone stack. My Hartke has the same thing. Pretty much never move the mids off of 10. A lot of people don't care for it, but it sounds alright to me - meaning that I don't notice any scooping going on with the mids knob at ten.
Sounds like I'm going against the grain a bit on mids. I have them dimed on the AD200.

This is the case on the Hartke LH1000? I'm hoping to get mine back from the shop soon... good to know!
I cut mids too, I like low mids, but high mids are a no go in my book

Dimed on the AD200 is not boosted and if the bass and treble are above 0 then your are officially cutting your mids.
Well, I'm also running my Wizard Fuzz in front of the Orange, which is essentially a preamp itself. By the time my EGC and WF tone hit the front of my TB, it's already pretty fuzzy and middy. I definitely still have a lot of mids in my tone.
It's been a long time and I don't even remember what the flat setting is on the AD200 anymore. I'll see if I can dig that up. I may have a chance to squeeze more mid boost if my bass and treble are boosted, too.
Flat is 2-10-2 it's the same preamp that they put in the terror bass amps.
So have I shown you guys a pic of my current rig yet?
$349 for Olympic white bass vi and hard case delivered Tuesday!
Now I'm confused, from the hunting I just did it looked like 9-12-3. FWIW, I run it 3-dimed-3.
Basically a free case and delivery. Good deal! You'll probably want to swap out the strings, at least the low E.
Are we talking hour hands?
