I'm back in the bass game after I got me a cab from FoF so I thought I'd pop in and say hi...

Yeah he'll do that, I had him quote me what it would be to put one of his necks on a 70's Tele bass awhile back. I was stalking a body for one on ebay, but decided against it.

How much would he charge for just a neck? I can't be spending money right now, but I am curious.

I wouldn't use GHS Boomers if they sponsored me. I have had several pairs and they sound great, to me, initially, but go to **** waaaaaay too quickly. Not worth ever using them again.

Ha ha, I couldn't agree more.

My problem with GHS Boomers is that they're named very accurately.

The Ibanez 4001 that used to be my main bass never sounded more muddy than when it had GHS strings on it. They could pay me to use their strings and I'd still secretly use D'Addarios.

No idea anymore, he just increased prices on things, and is streamlining the business to keep up with demand. So he may not be doing 1 off necks anymore, you'd have to email him I'd guess.

My wife wasn't convinced she really wanted to watch it, but after sparking a bowl and then seeing the first CGI universe stuff she was like OH YES THIS WAS A GOOD CHOICE.

hahahaha it was pretty classic, especially the look on the peoples faces that watched it happen.

I saw his bass on a luthiers facebook page the other day, apparently he added a push / pull pot to his EGC?

Yeah a few times, going in the low input has helped immensely with the issues we were having at your space.

Nope not yet, I've talked to a few people but nothing has materialized.
