Episode 88: S/D thread - No Hope

That and there first answer is just fxcktarddded. Why would you not inform the customers how the EQ of their product works. I know to adjust by ear but I guess I have that audio system mentality start at flat and go from there even though that is for boost cut EQ's.

I guess I don't really care what the answer is, I have mine set pretty much pleasing to my ear. It'd be nice to know "officially" how it works, though.

The simplicity of the Bassdrive and the Sublime is quite appealing.

I love the big green Sublime. Mine's with a buddy on extended loan, but I really enjoyed it on my board. Plus it's a great talking piece for those who haven't seen one before! It was a pretty wild beast, though. I had gain and the blend knob dimed. Feedback city! I ended up running a noise gate at the beginning of my board and that helped a lot.

There is a video on YouTube where they claim to directly compare it to the BDDI and it sounded pretty close to my ears (and on a YouTube video).

I've seen that video, and there's a thread here with clips for blind listening. I think it'll be close enough for my needs. I just want to have it in the case with my bass so if i ever need a di, preamp or dirt pedal I'll be set.
