EQ going to the sound system

The engineer gets my DI signal. It’s usually never discussed whether it’s pre or post, because it works. During the gig, I might need slight volume changes which do not affect my DI signal. Other changes were never needed so far. My signal is post.

Used to go post but after the band had a session with a sound engineer I now go pre. I'm not bothered either way as long as it mixes and sounds good with the band. I hear my tone through my cab, it wouldn't sound the same through the PA because they are different speakers.
