There's a whole thread on these. Hardly anyone on TB seems to have actually laid hands on one, and I suspect they're discontinued - none of the big online retailers seem to have any in stock. Too bad, it was the only way to get basically a Duck Dunn at a Squier price point...
Your right Hrodbert. They are discontinued. My bad. I was reading an article in Bass Player Magazine and it showed this bass, which made me think it was something new........I guess I need to get out from under my rock a little more

But yeah, that's why I found it interesting, it looks like a great bass at what was probably a great price new

Let us know what you think @lowdownthump

I think these were another case of "the bass that got away". A good bass for those looking for those features (which is quite a lot actually) at a very reasonable price. Granted, not many people will know the name of Ms. Gardner, but it is a solid instrument none the less.

I have a home-brewed version, a black & chrome P-Bass Special that I swapped out the pickguard and bridge on. It is my favorite bass among my collection. Solid player too, just as I imagine the EG signature edition was. I'd say if you can find one, grab it. And you could probably do so at a steal of a price now that they are discontinued.

I have never heard of her, but apparently she has some family in the business.

There was even a thread going around on another forum talking about great women bassist and there was not even one mention of her.....she's got chops though!

I've only seen one person play with a tug bar. When they did a walking jazz bass line there was a noticeable (at least to me the bassist) delay playing the E and A strings and then jumping an octave over the D string to hit a note on the G string.
