She ain't bad looking, either. Dumb place for a thumb rest, though.
Not a thumb rest. It's a tug bar.
Your right Hrodbert. They are discontinued. My bad. I was reading an article in Bass Player Magazine and it showed this bass, which made me think it was something new........I guess I need to get out from under my rock a little moreThere's a whole thread on these. Hardly anyone on TB seems to have actually laid hands on one, and I suspect they're discontinued - none of the big online retailers seem to have any in stock. Too bad, it was the only way to get basically a Duck Dunn at a Squier price point...
I have one arriving today. Will report back.
I have never heard of her, but apparently she has some family in the business.Granted, not many people will know the name of Ms. Gardner, but it is a solid instrument none the less.
Same here except for the jazz neck.If it wasn't for the boat thing, the 12th fret inlay, the jazz neck, and the tort guard, basically everything that defines it as her signature bass, I'd be all over that.
