Ever play at a clothing optional resort?

Got hooked up to sub for an old friend's husband for a gig. Looking forward to it. Guy is a good writer with a following, not really in my genre but I'm flexible. Not sure what the pay is like but probably fine, and it's not super important.

Turns out the gig is at a clothing optional resort. Oh my.

Still doing it, perhaps making a weekend of it with my wife.

Anyone got any experience with something like this?

I’ve done it.
I chose to leave my clothes on.

At one point during the gig I felt a “disturbance in the force”, looked behind me and the hairy drummer had unbuttoned his shirt and was feeling free with his eyes closed.

The creepy guitar player told a server the he, “really liked her outfit” which happened to be nothing but an apron.

My take aways:
Doing it again would depend on who I’d be playing the gig with.
Also:
The type of people who like to be naked in public are not necessarily the type of people I like to see naked in public….but that’s not what it’s all about so..

We should be thankful we are not playing the tuba in such situation.

Extra careful with that squeezebox.

IME the last people you want to see naked are the first ones to take their clothes off. Have fun, make eye contact, play your heart out.
