Ever play at a clothing optional resort?

I did it a few times. Just like any other venue, there are a lot of people there who really aren't in condition to be showing a lot of skin.

I wore my normal gig clothes. The only thing upsetting to me was the children who were there.

Turns out the gig is at a clothing optional resort. Oh my.

Still doing it, perhaps making a weekend of it with my wife.

Singer went over dancing with the girls and started taking his clothes off... Thankfully he stopped before the bouncers chucked us.
One of the strippers took a dollar and put it in his pants.
We ended up never being asked back. But we did get paid...
And the singer got an extra dollar.

sure, it's one of our regular gigs. we play it every year.

went from p.1 to p.3, so i don't know if anyone mentioned it, but ...

on break, sit with your back to a wall. this is rather important ...

I played a nudist festival deep in the mountains of West Virginia … the kind of place where your GPS fails about 5 miles from the location so the panic of not having an actual map sets in. Yes, yes, many jokes (and banjos) could be inserted here.

It was a cordial gathering. It was a little chilly up in them hills so the men in attendance were wearing T shirts. That’s it.

Our group played clothed - it was kind of an early in the day set so no liquid courage had been consumed.

The folks loved us and wanted to play some of their other gatherings but the the BL may have “lost their number” and that my friends, was that.

I have. It was one of my favorite gigs ever. The sights were hilarious. We all wore regular clothes of course.

Plus they paid us more than double what we usually made. Old men in fishets and heels using walkers to dance to our music was just one of the shenanigans.

I rather enjoyed having naked women roadie my gear when I played at one.

The people were fantastic and appreciative, but it was, ultimately just another gig.

yes, multiple events at the famous/infamous ponderosa "sun club" near roselawn, IN. (the band wore clothes.)

I had an opportunity to play a nude square dance. It would have given a whole new meaning to "swing your partner." We didn't do it. One of the guys said "There isn't a banjo big enough." I would have been fine with my upright.

My college band opened for them in May of '86. Their contract required them to wear pants at the show and we insisted we have the same clause in ours.
