No, but I did play a few places, the closer it got to last call and the drunker they all got, it was becoming clothing optional for the more-well-oiled.

Seriously, back around '80 a gogo/exotic dancer friend asked me if I be interested in playing shore gigs in a nude revue. H-to-the-yeah! I was playing my Dan Armstrong back then. Dunno if I lacked pride or shame! It didn't happen....

I’ll actually be playing my first clothing optional gig in a couple weeks. It happens to be a band I’m subbing in, playing electric bass for the tuba/sousaphone player…. Now I think I know why he asked for a sub.

So my nudie gig was supposed to happen tonight but I got Covid. Feels like one of the most mild colds I’ve ever had, but it’s been persistently not getting better or worse for a whole week.

I was in a band that was asked to play at a nudist resort. The band voted it down but I would have done it, clothed, if the money was good. My wife would have vetoed it though.

Got hooked up to sub for an old friend's husband for a gig. Looking forward to it. Guy is a good writer with a following, not really in my genre but I'm flexible. Not sure what the pay is like but probably fine, and it's not super important.

Turns out the gig is at a clothing optional resort. Oh my.

Still doing it, perhaps making a weekend of it with my wife.

Not exactly. I did play a gig that was basically a bdsm party. It was pretty wild. People wearing fetish clothing dressed up like dominatrix, people getting spanked, tied up, a lot of nudity. There was some pretty wild stuff. The people were all very respectful though. They marked everyone’s hands so people knew who was and wasn’t interested in participating in that stuff. Random pictures were not allowed as a lot of the people participating probably didn’t want their employers or families to know. Overall it was a fun time. I always kind of enjoyed playing themed shows. Stuff like that and Halloween gigs and stuff. People are out to have a good time and seem to be more laid back and fun.
