"Decimate" is also a good example.

Actually I think "Decimate" is the best example. IMO, A perfect hardcore/metal tone. Exactly what I want. This band has really good mixing too, lots of present hardcore bands mix out the bass or it's unhearable..this band does it just right.

Also I know some of the purists are going to say it doesn't have enough bass...see them live, it has so much bass you'll crap yourself.

I love the hard rock clip (both pickups, rounds).

I also really like the tone that this guy gets on his playalong of Keep Forgetting by Michael McDonald.



All things considered, I really like my tone (Squier CV Jazz w/ rounds > Ampeg SVT-VR > Carvin BR810). I can finally understand why everyone raves about all tube amps and can see why they're worth the hassle of lugging around. Beautiful tone!
