Was a pet name laid on me in the Army. Everyone in my platoon had one. It's self deprecating and I like being able to laugh at myself... And it gives me a tie back to the guys I spent a big piece of my life with.

When I joined, anyway. Today or any time after that I guess I'd be Joe Blimpie, or Joe Baron, Joe Almost Easy, Joe Cortez, Joe Happy, Joe Bumble, Joe Stash, Joe Bazooka, or Joe about 100 other names I wouldn't be as happy with. I think I joined Talkbass at an excellent time.
