Short answer: A LOT!!

I've been trying to make a recording of the combo, but it's just not coming out for whatever reason. The MM does a great job f softening up the Kilobyte. I have the MM set slower than the KB, and together they have a great rhythmic pulse.

In other news, did anyone get the notice about the modification options for the first batch (30 or so) of Meet Maude? I'm debating whether or not to send mine in...

Got an email from Fairfield saying they can tune up the Maude with changes they have made. You cna send in the pedal or they will give you instructions to do it yourself. Must be with trim pots or something. Anyway, interesting to be on the bleeding edge. :)

The overdrive of the Accountant, which normally glues the bass and guitar together very nicely was a little too present for my taste. I didn't bother having him fix the monitor mix mid gig, but I have heard live recordings and it sounded GREAT out front. Definitely a case of something sounding ugly on it's own working very well in the mix.

How does The Accountant stack with other pedals? eg fuzz, overdrive

I agree, except that I had mine (now sold) at the end of the chain. On either end of the chain it will tend to "hype" various types of distortion because you're adding another layer of dirt. I never found this to be a problem as it's a pretty mild and pleasant sounding OD.

Yes, it definitely can become an OD pretty quick on Bass, but a very low gain mild OD, I like it a lot.

It didn't seem to play well before my Greedtone pedal. The GT acts like a compressor already, so any little noise or hiss (already verified by Bongo) coming from the Accountant was magnified going through the GT. Some pedals are not as sensitive as the Greedtone though, so I'm sure in most cases it will sound great before other dirt pedals.

This is good to bring up. I haven't found this to be a problem with my dirt pedals but I see how it could happen. I do however get some of the noise from the Accountant amplified in my tremolo pedal.
