Liar By Queen has a pretty cool bass solo in it. Great song too. John Deacon is one of my Idols. Great bass player. He stays in the pocket and makes some pretty great lines.

Saw them earlier this year. When they played it, I couldn't take my eyes off that bass. It was truly glorius.
"SCP" means a Single-Coil Precision Bass. It's a Precision bass from before 1957, or the reproductions of it which include the original version of the Telecaster Bass, the Sting, the 51 Vintage Series reissue, etc.

as far as rock is concerned (punk, heavy or pop), where you have one guitar, if that guitar is playing chords for a while, then the bass is often carrying the line. Difficult to explain... War Pigs is a prime example, or psycho killer or nice n sleazy

I know it was mentioned already but "Everything is Everything" from Donny Hathaway Live with Willie Weeks on bass is the best bass solo I've ever heard.
