Steve DiGiorgio. Great bassist. But I can't leave out Les Claypool, he is the main reason I started playing bass. My father showed me one of his songs and I was like "holy ****, a bass can make those noises?!"

+1 on "here we go again", Harvey Brooks, I know I am really dating myself but he can be found on key albums in R&R history.....Look him up and listen....................
Evan Brewer is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. For those who aren't familiar he's was the bassist for Reflux, now for The Faceless, and he also has a killer solo album out. I'd recommend giving it a listen.
