Favorite Bass Player

the most influential bass players on my own playing has to be Flea, Stuart Zender and Mani. These guys really gave me an understanding what bass was about and the realisation that it was possible for the bass to have character an to be an instrument at the forefront. As for favourite players Im not really into the virtuoso's or the Jazz doodlers, although i have massive respect for them, they dont do much for me. I really admire James Jamerson, Les Claypool, Chris Squire, Roly Wynne (Ozric Tentacles original bassist -RIP Roly), Marcus Miller, Eric Wilson, Ben Kenney, Paul Blackburn (Gomez), Robert Trujillo (during his Infectious Groove days), Cass Lewis, Paul Turner
