Favorite childhood toys...

We all have favorite toys from when we were growing up, what was your single most favorite toy that you owned during that time?

I grew up in the 80's and 90's, so there were LOTS of toys to pick and choose from, oddly enough I think my favorite toy would have been the popoids construction sets for the amusement factor. Sure I had transformers and tmnt figures.... still do. But popoids made the amusing noises when you were stretching and bending them, plus you could make all sorts of odd things with them.

I was a kid in the 60's - favourite toy of all time was a Dinky James Bond Aston Martin - it was metal and had all the JB stuff - pop up shield, ejector seat, hidden guns that popped out... for a JB loving kid it was the only game in town.
Made even more special because, as they were the Christmas present of the year at that time, they were in short supply and my dad searched and queued in the middle of a Scottish subzero winter whilst suffering from the 'flu to make sure my brother and I had them - so it was even more special - cheers Dad!

70s kid here - man, it would be hard to pick, depends on exactly what age we're talking about. But I think the one that stands out would be... MICRONAUTS!

LEGOs, plain wood building blocks, and pen and paper. I drew all the time. When I got a little bit older Tamiya WWII 1/35th scale military modeling became more my thing.
