This is my favorite one I've used so far:
View attachment 756005... And I don't see my feelings changing any time soon. The original Green Russians are hard to find and I'm super happy I got my hands on one, and it's in great condition.
I love it's simplicity and easy to use knob layout. There's really no bad settings on it. It's super rich, creamy, and crunchy sounding, plus it's got insane amounts of hair. If you want the epitome of stoner/doom metal fuzz as well as sweet hard rock distortion, this is the one that tons of the others brands/models are based on. It's incredibly versatile and there's just something about it, even though it was designed for guitar, it's so well suited for bass that you can even boost/enrich your bass frequencies with it, which is completely antithesis of the usual struggle with other fuzz/distortion pedals sucking tone out of your low end.
It lays all the modern Muff pedals to shame of you ask me. It's only down side is it's size. Pretty bulky pedal.
