Favorite Hot Sauce.... GO!

Liking this one at the moment. Local sauce for local people.

Still have to say Encona reigns supreme, but this is a good one.

The Texas Trinity.

1) Tabasco (needs no picture)
2) Trappey's Red Devil (Frank's, Texas Pete, "Louisiana" are basically the same thing but I go for the original)
3) Pepper sauce (this last one Yankees won't understand, but here it's required for greens and black eyed peas).

Of course there are special application hot sauces, and we don't even want to open the picante sauce can o' worms, but these three are always on the table in Texas.

This isn't a hot sauce per se, but I just discovered it and my life is better for it. I love the crunchy texture!

Awwww yeah! We use a different brand of that we get from the Asian market in town. It's killer in soups, on scrambled eggs, and especially chili. I'll even add it to tacos and fried potatoes.
Speaking of, this would be rad on Hasselback potatoes.

I forgot how good the sauces are from Yellowbird. I've been going through this one at a record pace recently. So good....
It's spicy hot, but won't burn your mouth. It isn't sweet or overly vinegary. It has a nice smooth heat and flavor. You can actually taste the habanero before the heat and tingling kicks in. I'll have this by the spoonful just by itself.

Reviving an old thread here.
Can't see which Yellowbird it is, but I've tried all 3 and love the serrano variation.
Habanero is great too.
The jalapeno one reminds me a lot of Sriracha.

What the? My link broke.
It's the habanero one.
Of all the joints around here that sell it, REI is one of them. That cracks me up.
