Finally got myself a bottle of El Yucateco. It's okay but doesn't knock my socks off. The guacamole stuff is a little better but still not "the one".

Is it more watery than the Huy Fong stuff? It looks like it.

I like the texture of Huy Fong but not so much the flavor.

My love of hot sauce runs deep. I change them up often to adapt to what I want at that time. Sometimes its a vinegar kick so Tabasco fills the bill. Sometimes I want a smokey kinda mellow flavor so Cholula is the choice. Lately it's been a sweeter heat so I've been doing Sriracha, but not the "rooster" brand, which I love, but a slightly sweeter version called Crying Tiger. I've plowed though a bottle in about a week.

My new favorite breakfast hot sauce is the green Cholula. MAN is it addicting and just killer on eggs

I wouldn't consider sambal to be hot sauce
We use it for cooking, adding some to curries
It's also great for dipping stuff in, so I guess it is a sauce that's hot

I used to be able to handle REALLY spicy stuff, but my wife isn't a fan, so my tolerance has dropped significantly. That said, I started adding hot sauce recently, which completely removed ketchup from my diet, and the best hot sauce for me is Chipotle Cholula. Regular Cholula is good, but I LOVE chipoltle (and jalapeno FWIW). I put it in or on... everything that isn't Asian inspired, because that is what sriracha is for.
