I know it's super popular but I'm not really a fan of Sriracha. To me, it has too much flavor but not enough heat. Now this stuff I can get on board with. Super tasty!

Whys it green? Green Jalapeños or green Habanero?? I saw a habanero sriracha online the other day, and I'm very intrigued.

It's imported from Vietnam.
This has been my favorite so far..............gets ya "coming and going" if you know what I mean!
El Yucateco makes 3 different kinds of habanero sauce. This one and the black label are the best.

Another vote for El Yucateco XXXtra Hot Habanero.
When my local King Soopers stopped carrying it, I freaked & bought a case of it from eBay.

Dave's Insanity for flavor, but way too hot for me, even the "Temporary Insanity" I use only in toothpick-tip sized droplets. Hot stuff.
That's exactly how I feel about regular sriracha. The flavor itself isn't particularly good to my taste and the heat is barely there. If I find this version I'll give it a shot.I know it's super popular but I'm not really a fan of Sriracha. To me, it has too much flavor but not enough heat. Now this stuff I can get on board with. Super tasty!

Original Sriracha sauce, from Thailand, is a condiment:

it's just spicy ketchup
great on eggs
It's often served in a little dipping sauce bowl, so you can dab a little on every spoonful of food![]()
While I agree about the heat of sriracha it's always been more of a condiment than a hot sauce hasn't it? Culturally it's ketchup to some folks. It's my go to condiment these days. My hot sauce choice is always palate dependent. What am I in the mood for, and will vinegar go with what I'm eating. I tend towards vinegar based hot sauces most times unless I want to set my face on fire, then I just grab some Indian take out, making sure to tell them to make it for a brown person( my local place always know when I order, they get a kick out of it when I remind them ) and call it a day.
I love hot stuff, but once had to literally 'go for a walk' after putting some Dave's Insanity on a chicken thigh. Whew!Dave's Insanity for flavor, but way too hot for me, even the "Temporary Insanity" I use only in toothpick-tip sized droplets. Hot stuff.
