UFO - Strangers In The Night. It rocks. I just saw UFO last Spring (and will see them again on May 6 in Poughkeepsie,NY) and they were spot on excellent!
There are some great albums in this thread. I have to go with the Allman Brothers "Live at Filmore East."
And will throw in one more: "Live at the Plugged Nickel" by Miles Davis.

Edgar Winters Roadwork album has some great performances on the album...Randy Jo Hobbs is killing on that recording.

Agreed. I know the production isn't as fancy as the following live Rush albums, but the performance energy is second to none.

Tommy Shannon says Donny Hathaway Live is his favorite album of all time. Not available on CD domestically, it took me forever to track down a Japanese import. Willie Weeks at his best.
Zappa recorded everything, and thats good. His bands were the tighted live acts in the biz.

YesShows is still one of my favs and an amazing live album for Squire fans. Chris did the mix on that album and made sure that the bass was good and loud in the mix. Genesis "Three Sides Live" is also realy good.
