Favorite Rickenbacker 4003 Color

Walnutglo isn't on the list (the assume the Walnut listed refers to the current actual-walnut instrument), nor is tuxedo, so I just chose "other."
This one is not mine, but I had one just like it. Montezuma Brown - my favorite. I also owned a Fireglo. But one of my favorites has always been Thornton Davis' Burgundyglo.
Compare that with this lighter version of Montezuma Brown. I like the lighter one better:

To me, Rics looks great in different shades of red - fireglo, autumnglo, ruby, burgundy... - but I also like them in turquoise.
The 4001 I own is mapleglo, though. Not my favourite Ric finish, but still nice.

WALNUTGLO (yes, I yelled it), like the one 10 posts above this one. I've seen only one in person and despite the fact I've owned a handful of Rics and the magic isn't really there for me anymore for them, that color was the sexiest thing I'd seen in years. Couldn't take my eyes or hands off of it.
In the "80"s it wasn't called Autumglo it was called Walnut and there were two versions,gloss and satin/matte..at least according to the book by Richard Smith..Perhaps Paul Boyer can set the record straight..
I have a "82 walnut 4001 that looks sort of like Autumglo and a Jetglo 4003 from "04 that I put a black pg on to kinda resemble a Blackstar/Shadow(see profile pic)..
I had a hard time choosing a favorite but, I'll vote Jetglo because it's what I'm playing now..
My favourite three colours are posted in the pictures attached below ( Walnut, Snowglo, Montezuma Brown ) which are my three current Ric basses !!! I really, really dig the Snowglo on the 4004 Laredo !!! Absolutely superb!
I had a 2002 Burgundy at some point and sold her..... that colour is also very, very pretty!

Just my opinion, but I am always attracted by the light wood look where the grain of wood can clearly be seen. I have to admit however, I do have a hangup about the odd shape that I just can't get beyond. I must however digress with one exception and that is I can not imagine seeing Sussanna Hofts behind any other guitar but her black Ric.. It just fit the time and place.
What my experience is, would be that Rickenbacker is not really consistent in their build-quality.
The 1992 that I am the current custodian of seems to be a dandy, however.

I voted for "Other", too, which must be code for Autumnglo. The confusing part of this is that there was a finish called Walnut back in the '70's that was essentially Autumnglo with a different gloss. This can be confused with the current Walnut series made out of that type of wood.
There's only 1 colour for a Ric - Jetglo.
I've owned many of the others, currently just a JG 4001. The Ric bass, in the archetypal Ric shade.

That's a beauty also. It looks closer to the old Autumnglo, which was also fantastic! The MB 4003 that I had was a bit lighter on the outer edges than the pic I posted. But sadly, I can't find any pics of my MB before I sold it.Compare that with this lighter version of Montezuma Brown. I like the lighter one better:
