All of these! I'll add Undeclared, Life on Mars and When Things Were Rotten (showing my age on the latter!)
I already posted once, but I remembered an old soap opera, for teens, that my friends and I used to watch. It was called The Best of Everything. Anyone remember that one. (Squirrel, etc.)

Two of my all time favorite cartoons when I was a kid were Top Cat and The Jetsons; both 1/2 hour prime time TV shows.
Top Cat only ran for one season from September 27, 1961 to April 18, 1962 with 30 episodes.
The Jetsons original run consisted of 24 episodes that first aired on ABC from September 23, 1962 to March 17, 1963.
However, in 1984, Hanna-Barbera began producing new episodes pf The Jetsons specifically for syndication; by September 1985, the 24 episodes from the first season were combined with 41 new episodes. Starting in 1987, ten additional "season 3" episodes were also made available for syndication
Interestingly, Top Cat and the original Jetsons were very popular and spawned many toys and merchandise and reruns kept the initial run of shows alive for many years.
In comparison, the original Flintstones ran for 6 years and 166 episodes.

John Doe as well as Firefly. I picked up Firefly on DVD and it still held up, but I saw a rerun of John Doe and it did not. I remember liking Shasta McNasty, with Jake Busey.

I also loved Max Headroom. Awesome show. Beauty and the Beast only lasted 3 years, but I only count 2 since Linda Hamilton left. Loved that show too.

Another vote for The PJ's, the Christmas special had me and a buddy of mine laughing our asses off!

The Others - aired about five or six eps, constantly pre empted, died. NOT the same as the movie of the same name.
Dresden Files. Not anywhere near as good as the books, but enjoyable in their own right.

I think that theme song was 'It's about time, it's about space, it's about the whole human race...' but I could be remembering wrong, too...

Sapphire and Steel (although one reason I think this show ended was that too many writers didn't really understand the show's basic concept and none of the exec producers, etc made sure story lines fit into the story background concept.)
