Yamaha, for consistent quality, great feel, and "my own personal sound". I really like their tone control, and their pickups. The two split coil pickups are very unique sounding. A beefeir then a J but more growly than a P.

The Bass Company, Landings, and Waterstone have all been responsive to emails so big ups to them. The Bass Company is the only one of those three I actually own so I guess they are at the top of my list right now.

Dean basses arent bad, The Hillsboro Basses are exellent, and they (Dean) are the only basses with a low price that can have 3 EQ Band pick-ups (i.e. Hillsboro Jazz Bass)
