It's funny, Curve were never household names, but they were very well known in that scene
I'm not, in general, a huge shoegaze fan but I do love Curve.
Dean was actually way more visible, and arguably more famous (certainly exposed to a larger global audience) as a touring, and sessions bassist during the 80's, with Eurythmics, and Feargal Sharkey.
Never heard of Feargal Sharkey. I know Dean worked with the Eurythmics but again, not more than a casual fan of them—never saw them live or anything.
