Fearful cut plans

Does anyone have the fearful cut lists? The site and forum are down. EDIT: THEY'RE BACK! ITS OK!!!!!

I don't know this for sure, but it's my understanding that it got pulled because no one donates to the site after getting their free plans. I kinda sympathize with that, if it's true :/

I had no idea there was even a donation. I had only been to the website with the Kurt Cobain looking guy and not the forum. Maybe greenboy could do like Bill Fitzmaurice?

Only the 15/6 plans come up. I guess I'll just have to order flatpacks, which will at least make it easier.

I can't let myself believe that that's the reason. Really hoping that isn't the case, and that it's just a server hiccup or something.

Pretty messed up. I always loved the fact that the Fearfuls were open source, and figured that the plan to monetize them was always just to make money off of the Fearless line, which would have been respectable.

As a Greenboy user, this is embarrassing.

Does that thumb in the eye also extend to all of us that bought a Fearless from an authorized builder? This is disappointing on a number of levels.

That's completely besides the point. You don't get to be pissed off when you offer something for free, or using the "pay what you want" model and then don't wind up making money off of it. That's just not how it works.

If he needed to cite operating expenses as a reason to start charging a nominal fee for the Fearlful plans, he could have done so in a respectable manner.

As it stands, this just seems whiney: "I'm going home and taking my toys with me"!

As a big Greenboy supporter this seems to have struck a nerve with me.

Great Foz! Where is the link on the site with the plans? Right, there is none.

Edit: it does come across rather childish to expect donations for plans while not even posting a link on the site with the plans and then disabling/deleting things, because he didn‘t get what he never said he wanted.

Reminds me of the “free” carwashes that local groups do. Then they hold their hands out at the end. If you want to monetize something, set a price. If you give something away for free, give it away for free.

I wanted to donate. I just didn’t want to do it through PayPall. I got in contact with Greenboy. He didn’t offer an alternative. Guess he wasn’t interested.
