Haha! My partner, Justin wants to do this one in black. Maybe with grill cloth. It will make a nice demo cab that could possibly be for sale if someone needs one on the quick. I'm gonna do at least a small handful of gigs on it first. I'll probably keep it even though I'm perfectly happy with my F112/F115 stack

The demo is in Arauco. Falls between Okoume and Baltic Birch in weight. Kinda fussy to work with, but once it's glued up and braces are set, it's a light, stuff cab

I built green cabs, before long Duke-O is building green cabs.
I paint my hardware copper, before long Duke-O is powder coating his hardware copper.
I do a basic black cab, now Duke-O is planning a black cab.
Is there a pattern here?
Yeah the Duke never plays fair - give the peeps what they want - how can the competition survive?

These cabs are kinda pricey, due to the components cost, so the profit margins are a bit low. That being said, if a customer wants to personalize a cab , then I want them to have what's gonna make them the happiest. I don't actually make an extra nickel from custom cab colors or custom powdercoating. I charge what it costs me to get it done. Unless we get into tons of piping, or stripes, my labor is the same regardless of the cab color or hardware finish . I do have some pretty crazy stuff coming up with graphics, carvings...just labor intensive, but it's gonna make a fellow musician happy, so I'm all about it. This is probably the craziest request I've completed in awhile

The prototype has been out for some time. In fact the pictures I posted in the OP months ago are a finished cab.
I am sure any of the AB's would take an order.
Will do! I'm pretty excited to get it done and on a stage

The box is built and all the parts are at the shop...got some customers to take care of first, so I just work on the F212 in my spare time

Our demo cab is at Justin's shop awaiting crossover installation, so I haven't tried it yet, but the F212 appears to have gotten rave reviews at NAMM, so there's that
