Exactamondo. Besides, isn't the point of owning a Fender the fact that they are all kinda garbage, and you either find the diamond in the rough or you beat it into one.a hard time convincing me to spend Fodera money on a Fender, even if it IS a master luthier built Custom Shop. I'd want something much more "custom" than a Fender for that kind of scratch.
Yeah you could do worse than a George Harrison replica. That was just the first expensive CS fender that I've seen locally that I thought of. Then I saw that abomination that I posted after. Not sure why anyone would buy that red one.
I build my own basses. The only thing that I'd use from that bass if you gave it to me would probably be the neck screws. So, I'll give you $1.50 for it.
