$8000 for a bass that you need to take the pickguard or the neck or just have it routed so you can have easy access to adjust the truss rod? No thanks.

Bonus bucks -- reminiscent of the old joke about how the overpriced car had better come with cash in the trunk...
I love a good P bass, but this is silly. Most I would personally spend on a P bass would be around $5k and it would be a Sadowsky or something. This bass seems destined to end up hanging on someone's wall in their home office never actually getting played. It's just an expensive collectible.
If I were wealthy, this is exactly the kind of tacky crap I'd buy ironically.

That bass is destined for the wall of some Hollywood star's nightclub or restaurant chain. They should add a zero to the price.
I would buy it but only play it in NYC just to poke folks with the East coast/West coast competition shizz.
I kinda like the neck/head. Otherwise, it looks pretty tacky. Wouldn't want it for even half the price.
If that design were painted of a Squier, it would be one of the cheesiest basses on the market.
