I would know, and I would have to fix it. I know, it's not a big deal, but my OCD can't live with this.

Wow. Looks incredible. Sounds incredible. The tone is quite similar to my G&L L2000, with just as much output. I admit I've bought this with every intention to change out the neck for a P neck with Hipshot Ultralights - but the current neck feels good. I've done my own setup - just a smidge of relief - and the action is stupid low.

Anyone taken their black gloss finish down to a satin finish? Just wondering how it would look. Or even the best way to go about it. Be a cool look on this bass I think. If done properly.

Although I am seriously thinking about a polished metal plate ala Steve Harris! It would be very bling but would be typically me!
One thing about this bass - the bridge is crap. Has there ever been a drop in for the recessed bridge models?
I put a Hipshot KickAss4 on mine, bolts right on! Much better sustain.
I kinda like a black satin finish, be too scared to do it myself... I know there's a liquid that will knock the gloss down, not sure what it's called. What bridge is that?

Nice! I went with the Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder pickups on mine, same bridge as you. You forgot one thing, I went with the graphite nut, keep it all black!
Are the controls on the Aerodyne without the plate like mine the same spacing as a reg jazz with a control plate? Just wondering if a preamp setup with a plate could be used by removing the knobs off the plate and dropping it in where the holes are on the non-plate. Like an Audere ect.
