Fender American Design Experience

How does the American Standard Precision maple board neck compare to the American Special maple neck? Are they both finished with glossy on front and satin on back? Do they both have graphite reinforcement rods? Are the frets and nut of similar quality and finish? How do American Standard tuners differ from Special?
Is there any real difference in overall quality, fit, and finish?
I like the larger headstock and decal on the Special headstock. How shallow...

Really struggling on what p bass to get. It's between:
- an american standard p bass - olympic white, tortoise shell and maple.
- an american special p bass - candy red, black and maple.
- a mike dirnt road worn p bass - sunburst, black, maple.

But then I created this with the american design experience. I only ever see lpb p bass that have tortoise shell pickguards with rosewood boards, but I want maple. Does anyone have any pictures to show what this design would look like in real life?

Thanks for the picture. I did, which is why I said all I could find were basses with rosewood boards. BUT, i took your advice. I searched for what I'm looking for. Of the first 13 images that came up, 8 were lake placid blue; 3 were guitars, 4 had rosewood fretboards, one had a maple fretboard but a seafoam green pickguard. Of the remaining 4, 2 were black and one had a rosewood fretboard, one was white and had a rosewood fretboard, and 2 were vintage white and one of them had a black pickguard.

So when I ask on here, it's because I've already searched and been unsuccessful. Also, I was also hoping that people, excluding providing sarcastic comments, on here would be helpful.

Thanks.

You were the one who was being snarky and now you're melting because you got it back. It's all good dude, you just gotta get better at the internet. Good luck with your bass search.

You know what, technically you're absolutely right - obviously at my age (21) I don't know everything, if that's aimed specifically at the whole internet thing. But I don't think that's what you meant when you advise me "to get better at the internet" was it?

Just trying to help. If you walk around in life or the internet with a chip on your shoulder, just waiting for someone to knock it off so you can be offended, you'll find it hard to get where you want to be. Fletz was trying to help you and you peed on it. Consider that he just had a video posted on FMIC website and he just might know what he is talking about. If he says the picture you posted is what it looks like then that's good info. Additionally, it took me less than 45 seconds to find the pic on google. I put google on top of the pic to show you where I got it from. So you got two good answers and all we got from you was attitude and intermelt.
