That sounds about right...
I'm in the process of building what I am calling the all around PJ 4 (it's not a Lull, and they are ok with it) with the following specs

Ash body - stained myself
Ebony / Maple neck (all black glossed finish)
All Schaller hardware
Nordstrand P/J pickups and 2 band preamp

If I had to pay for all the parts and the fee to have it put together by someone very quliafied it would be $1250.

That's using all premium hardware and electronics to boot. I saved a touch with finish.

I would bet my house on that unless it was a Fender Custom shop an then I would put it on par.

I have very vocal regarding 4 string Fender style instruments.

I honesty feel that there is no reason to ever buy Fender over building a Warmoth unless your looking for instant gratification.

They are superior in every way with the craftsmanship and wood choices.
You get to pick the parts you like and build something better and cheaper.
If you are a real player and not just someone who is looking at flipping it then to me it's no brainer.

Schecter is probably one of the most underrated brands out there. I just wish the frets where not so big. If you're a jumbo fret player, they are great bang for the buck...

I know I came off pro Warmoth in your thread, however I appreciate you sharing the video, I liked the bass actually.

I think it would be great instrument and I'm not sure what it is going for. I think I have seen 2k in this thread...I just cridge a little when I hear those prices for a Fender 4, knowing what you can have made using Warmoth.

Every Warmoth I have had made, has been excellent to 'OMG this is awesome'.

I have been eyeing that model t for a couple of years. It originally had active electronics, didn't it? What made you want to put the GEEZERS (passive) in it? I'm just curious if there was a problem with the original pups or do you just not want the active electronics?
fwiw I have a set of pj geezers in my aerodyne and love'm

I think it looks cool, but I'd ditch the PJ and put a single coil in there. Nothing looks cooler than a single coil, imo. Also, I think I caught a glimpse of that PG being translucent.

Edit: Nope, not translucent. Would have been cool.
