Good looking rig right there!!
Damn, when I sent a pic of this bass to Fender and told them it would make a nice Fender FSR American Vintage '58 Roasted Ash P bass or something similar they wrote back and told me I was crazy!
I'd really catch hell around here for taking a file to it and putting contours on it
If it makes you feel better, I like it. Not enough to buy one, but I like the look.Sorry guys. I'll bow out now. Didn't know everyone would be so mad about it. Cheers! Have a great Sunday!
Yeah I'm not buying it either. Just thought it was interesting. If it makes you feel better, I like it. Not enough to buy one, but I like the look.
If you didn't anticipate a bit of vitriol about a bass that's described using the marketing-esque terms 'roasted thin skinned', you're.... an optimist. Not at all. Just didn't anticipate the vitriol.
Wow! Quite an extreme response. I can think of a whole lot of basses that look a lot worse than this. I like it. Ugly is a strong word.I like Telecaster basses and guitars but there is nothing about this model that appeals to me. I think it's one of the ugliest instruments I've ever seen.
I love it. But I don't want one.Its not you, its the bass! Thanks for bringing it to our attention! Somebody on here will love it.
