Yes, I also see the point that it maybe shouldn't cost so much, and that the hardware / pickguard arrangement could change it up. But the 'roasted' wood, looks so nice!!

I want a roasted hard rock maple p bass with a dimension style bass neck.. Lol I think I could get it made for a thousand.. So this is a pass although really beautiful.

The black aluminum pick guard makes that bass look horrid. And I don't understand its size and location, or the material they used. Otherwise, everything about the bass looks sharp. I really dig the roasted thing.

Damn, when I sent a pic of this bass to Fender and told them it would make a nice Fender FSR American Vintage '58 Roasted Ash P bass or something similar they wrote back and told me I was crazy!

I like it, I think it looks marvelous. And the demo sounds OK but it's hard to tell on a tablet's speaker.
I am a recent convert to the Tele, but "it"(the need to own one!) has been inching towards, " What bill can I do without?"
P.s, Love the pickguard- kinda looks like a vinyl record.

Love it! Sounds awesome. Diggin' the playful jabs at The Edge and Kirk Hammett too. Wish it came in some very translucent colors.

Still might pick one up someday if the sharp body edge is tolerable and the body pieces look well matched.

I like Telecaster basses and guitars but there is nothing about this model that appeals to me. I think it's one of the ugliest instruments I've ever seen.

Wow! Quite an extreme response. I can think of a whole lot of basses that look a lot worse than this. I like it. Ugly is a strong word.
