Fender leak - American Vintage Series II is coming?

all good, just thought i'd mention it as to not have these spread all over the forum, up to about 4 different ones now, lol, but the other one does have more participation at this point and you know it'll all be merged at some point,![]()
Also, with the Daphne blue what other pickguard would go nicely other than tort?
I was just about to point out all they did was update a couple colors. But YEASSS! Oly with matching headstock is really calling me.Every fiber of my being is telling me to reject these and all things FMIC (because I know better) , but I’ll be damned if that oly white 66 jazz doesn’t have me all gaseous….
Parchment or white?
Yes. Parchment, white, or even mint green in some cases. That's what the solid colors would have had originally. Tort would have been standard on ONLY Olympic White and sunburst.
Yes, I was also thinking mint green too. Or maybe black over daphne blue.
What colour would look good on the black finish?
I have no eye for colours unfortunately. I always need colour advice when it comes to dressing up nicely...
As these are ‘built to original specs’, am I right in assuming that means removing the neck to adjust the truss rod? I’m loving the ‘60 P Bass but neck removal is a royal pain in the backside.
