Gotta read the first 59 posts, the answer is within, at least my answer....It baffles me why anyone would wait 20 months for a Fender when there are sooooo many on the used market. Literally thousands. I do like a great Fender Jazz but when my life is passing me by musically waiting for a Fender Ultra J.? Dont get it.

The OP was looking for a specific finish. Apparently, it’s not readily available in his locale. It baffles me why anyone would wait 20 months for a Fender when there are sooooo many on the used market. Literally thousands. You could at least be grateful for another platform where can exercise your Fender bashing in such an eloquent manner.I would rather spend 20 months in a Greek prison with a 100 gallon barrel of lube than waiting for Fender to build and ship me a bass . Go and buy a Sadowsky or a Nash or something and get on with your life .
about the ****est comment i've read on the board in quite a while, enjoy walking sideways after your lube runs out, amazingI would rather spend 20 months in a Greek prison with a 100 gallon barrel of lube than waiting for Fender to build and ship me a bass . I am in Canada, and ordered this bass through Long & McQuade which is our national instrument monopoly here - coast to coast we are rather skint on retailers
