hey, guys, my amp is not working anymore...

I was following the instructions, since I received it, a week ago: only turn it on with some cabinet loaded, always wait for one minute to turn stand by off, etc, etc, and the sound was superb...

But today, now, I tried to turn it on, and the power indicator does not light.
I checked the rear panel, and the output power lights were all dead,

The automatic bias indicates, from left to right:

2A\1A\1B\2B
red\red\orange\orange

All fuses seems ok

This first picture: I just turned it on:

second, after one minute:

note that the output power lights are all off...

I remember reading that with tube amps you set to the higher impedance in situations like that. Sort of the opposite from solid state. Might be hearsay, but te 100t owners manual would seem to support that.

Cheers,
Liam

This is correct, Liam. Solid state amps are easily harmed/damaged by lower than optimum impedance loads, tube output sections by higher than optimum impedance loads.

Did you check the fuse for the "screens" on the tubes? Label "BB" in the manual? Sometimes the fuses can look OK but still be bad. If you have an ohm meter, use that to verify if the fuse is good.

Also all red/orange bias LED's would indicate tube failure. If you have a spare set to swap out I'd try that first. You might also have some type of failure in the bias circuit. Looks like you need to contact Fender warranty support and get the amp checked.

Fuses are ok, I checked them with a multimeter.

Power amp tubes seems ok, too. I dont think they are the problem. However, I took off the preamp tube shields and observed them: they arent lighting up. The power indicator is not lighting, too.

tomorrow I'll take all tubes to testing...

If the preamp tube filaments aren't lighting up at all I'd suspect a problem in the power supply circuit somewhere. Or possibly a loose connector to the PC board for the preamp tubes if they're mounted on a separate board. It would be very unusual for all the preamp tubes to go out at the same time.

Let us know what happens. I'm thinking about picking one of these up and I'm watching the potential problems I may face.

I had the "light show" in the auto bias panel come one once right after I swapped out the stock GC's for Winged C's. Orange and red lights going on and off, yet the amp performed just fine. As a precaution I turned the amp off, waited for it to cool off and removed and re-seated the power tubes, then turned it back on. No problems since then, and as far as functionality is concerned no problems when it happened for all that matter. Never has a problem with it turning on. Sounds to me like you need to take a trip to the authorized warranty amp tech.

I already removed and re-seated the power and pre-amp tubes, with no results, at all...

I got this one used, and I live in Brazil, it's impossible, to me, use the authorized warranty. But I'll take the amp to a tech, for sure...
Another info: I noticed, during the time the amp was working, that the fan never started up, even with the amp working for a long time.

The fan almost never comes on. Stories of heavy use and still not comming on.

That's normal.

Good luck with the repair. It's a great amp.

BP.

That seems to be inconsistent. And it's why I wouldn't necessarily trust Fender customer support, as I got three different answers from them on this on three different calls. Mine has come on after heavy use (like during the third set of a gig) from day one, but I've had not one problem with the amp (purchased last May, rehearsed and gigged with regularly since) and it never gets overly-hot. Hot as you would expect, but not like egg-frying hot. And, on the bias light issue, mine never vary off green once it comes off of standby.

Is the fan very loud?
I can not say if it has ever come on or not. I am inclined to say it never has and I have run the heck out of mine to the point where the handles were hot (it will keep a order of fry's kitchen hot for a full set).

No, not at all. As I said early on, I don't see any point of having a fan if it only comes on when the amp is reaching critical mass. Mine seems to come on when you would expect. Probably a faulty heat sensor, but I like it!

Played mine last night on the biggest stage since I got the amp a couple/few months ago: The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh. I turned up the volume a smidge higher than usual, but otherwise the same result: She was just beautiful.

Exactly what I'm saying. Don't think those guys are EE's. Think most were GC employees last week, and they're looking at a script.

+1

They are definitely looking at a script, as are almost all level 1 CS reps for any company nowadays. If your question isn't on their script they are stumped. Then they either pass you higher up the chain or put you on endless hold while they try to figure it out.

It's a sad fact but true for most large companies.
