I have my matching cable too
I’m loving this bass! Sound-look-feel
You tease with that shot of your beautiful bass...Please show more while I dig back through this thread to find your bass
Great picture of the whole bass....Looks soooo good!
My Sonic blue had a more subtle relicing than that , but was from that era
Thanks! It's a keeper!
Is it this one?
Yep , that is the one with the matching cable
1991 Bass Centre Jaco Pastorius signature bass 001 of 100.
Looks to be right in line with many of the examples I've seen.
Cool my birthyear !
Hello CS Gang!
I am now a proud owner of a CS Sean Hurley Bass in aged Charol Frost. Realy great Sounding, lightweight Bass and the Muting System is great, althoug it pitches the notes because it increases the Tension of the Strings.
I thought about looking for a Pino, test both and keep one but selling one of them would probaly break my Heart...
You can adjust the screws on the muting system, so it doesn't mute that hard but it will not mess with the intonation then. There is a sweet spot of good intonation and the right amount of mute. Looking great in that color!
Very nice... if I were to buy another FCS, this would likely be it.
Full pic of posting #2349, plus a CS Cunetto Jazz Bass, '59 Reissue NOS and Urge Sherwood Green which I believe was also built by the CS.
congrats for the bass this looks amazing
Can I ask you a quick question: How do you adjust the truss rod? I am thinking getting a similar one but I don’t want to take the neck off for every adjustment
Hello to all!
I had to post here for quite some time, but I am back.
My CS '64 had to undergo a surgery back in September - the neck developed a twist, and so special treatment was required.
A refret was involved, and I opted for something bigger than the original Vintage fretwire (width = 0.080", height = 0.043"): I went with the Stewart-MacDonald Medium/Higher fretwire (width = 0.092", height = 0.048"). I am really happy with this choice, and I like it better than the original offering (well, choice).
The treatment worked well, and as far I can tell, the neck is perfectly straight since I got my loved one back, with very low action.
Good to see you back.
If you are the original owner, the Fender Custom Shop offers a lifetime warranty on the neck and body. Were you able to get the work done through the FCS?
