You should be able to email FCS Support and get a copy of the Shop Traveler. That should tell you everything you need to know. Support is pretty responsive in my experience.

Hi! I seem to remember that you outfitted this bass with Res-O-Lites. I’m looking to add a set to my CS Jazz. Quick question - do the Res-O-Lites cover the screw holes of the Fender tuners? Thank you.
I did. They’re really great. The model is Gotoh GBR 640. They’re a direct drop-in replacement. All the holes line up.

My Fender basses are mostly vintage 70s , and 80s models. But I do own one only Fender Custom Shop bass - a 2021 , 70th anniversary limited edition’51 Precision, in Faded Nocaster Blonde.

Yeah. I like them a lot. They dropped the weight on my bass by 6oz, I believe. Fairly easy install. The hardest part was getting the old bushings out. There are a couple of videos on YouTube that show safe ways to remove them without damaging the bass. Good luck! I hope they work well for you.
I wrote about the Gotoh drop-in replacements upstream in this thread, but, if you plan to ever reinstall the original tuners (if you sell the bass in the future), then I might suggest using the original Fender screws to install the Gotoh GBR640 Tuners. The screws that ship with the Gotohs are usually a touch larger than the Fender screws. If you install the Gotoh screws, it is tough to go back to the Fender screws. I also kept the Fender tuner bushings in place when installing the Gotoh tuners.
Thank you - I ordered a set. My CS 60 Jazz is a brilliant bass apart from a little too much neck dive; it is weirdly noticeable compared to my other two Fender Jazz basses. I have no idea why that one bass is so prone.
Hopefully this upgrade will make the difference.
I have a Time Machine '59 Precision I bought new in early 2012, S/N R60XXX, if that's any help.

Can someone tell me the hex wrench size for the Control Knobs on an FCS Time Machine '64 Jazz Bass? All I seem to find are answers for the bridge height screws. One Poster noted that 1/16" for the bridge pieces is not quite right for the control knobs but then didn't say what WAS correct.
All of my FCS bass control knobs have a slotted screw. For hex screws I have both an American and Metric set of hex wrenches, and can always find the correct size by trial and error.
Just went to the hardware store, and it turns out 1/16" is the correct size for the control knobs. The one I was trying to use, and didn't quite fit, was metric.
I just received this today; I foolishly sold one two years ago that I had purchased new.
My favourite pair - Pino and 61 jazz.. (celluloid content, too, I wish fender would use it too on their original pickguards).

I’d like to see a “vintage custom” 1960 jazz bass, seems fitting for the series, and it would be cool to see a 1:1 1960 jazz with the stack knob resistor circuit and felt mutes.
Maybe a 62-63 P? I hope if they do a 60’s P they use the correct logo for the year including the patent numbers, it seems fender likes to use the pre 61 logo on on their mid 60’s P’s….

I think a modern redo of the James Jamerson signature bass would be cool too.
I would love to see a period-accurate early 70s era Jazz - with a TV logo. And not a relic or heavy relic - Journeyman or, even better, Closet Classic.
More broadly, I would like to see fewer heavy relics.
