Not good. I may have to stop visiting TB!
Wait a second......9.5" radius? I'm all better now.
And it’s not a jazz nut either, so you are good.

Yes, it seems it is slab board.
What year was it made?
And it had the Shop Floor Traveler when it arrived to you? Nice.
Can you tell us more about it, what model is it?
Round lam or slab board, I am sure it is stellar.![]()
Sweet bass, I just don't like the matching headstock
So, you sold the '62 for the Pino, or do you have both?Long search is over, found the Pino!View attachment 2877492 View attachment 2877493

Wow, wow, wow!! I saw some pics of this bass while it was still at the CS being finished up some while ago. The double-bound slab Jazz body immediately had me intrigued. At the time I saw the pics, I was sure it was a private build but now seeing the traveler here that it was for Bizzare Guitar (I've purchased CS basses from there before, Greg is awesome) I immediately went to their website, but don't see it listed. I'm sure it was snached up in a hot second. Gorgeous, awesome bass.
Superb!Enjoy that '66!
About the number of them made, e-mail Fender CS; I think they are the only to have such an information.
Question: is your neck plate a blank, R-serial number, or does it have the CS logo and CZ-serial?
Yes, all CS instruments have the 'RELIC' stamp and CS logo under the pickguard.View attachment 2882354
It has the CZ serial and the CS logo on neck plate and relic engraved with CS logo under the PG on the body, that I discovered yesterday when I was to adjust the neck a bit. I got some pics from the store and on some pics from the back it has a little white sticker on the neck plate where somebody written 20 so maybe they only did 20 leftys? That sticker was not there when I received the bass
