Fender Customshop??? Purple Sparkle!

This thread gets to 7 pages, but my new bass day thread gets three responses... Glad to see that Talkbass has its priorities straight.

Can we not, in some aspects, blame ourselves for the monsters among us?

Seems like you got three pages of help right here, wherein you asked, "What did I buy?"
(Funny, I don't ever find myself asking that question....But then I don't impulse buy, not even cheapies).

So you are mad that people would rather post a comment here and try and help someone with a F3ndur Coostum Shuoop bass than to say "congrats" on you buying a new bass? Seems a little egotistical, no?

Why does the fact you bought a bass need so much attention or acknowledgement from others?

I mean, the NBD is just an example; I myself would consider it more of a review of several products available than looking for any sort of vindication, but I digress... There's several quality threads everyday that kind of die before any real discussion begins to take place. But lets be real, it was well established this guy is a troll like 4 pages ago.

I suppose this is the beauty of the internet, is its a tool that we all have the freedom to use as we see fit, even if one's desire is to use that tool to create a trap for hobbyist on an obscure internet message board, or to fall for such trap.
